Population Education, a program of Population Connection, is the only national population education program with a strong emphasis on teacher training for educators of pre-K through 12th grade.
Since 1975, the program has developed age-appropriate, value-neutral curricula to complement students’ science and social science instruction about human population trends and their impacts on natural resources, environmental quality, and human well-being.
We provide hands-on professional development programs for over 12,000 teachers and student teachers annually in North America. The activities on this website have been matched to the national content standards for a range of subject areas, as well as to the Common Core Standards. For more information on all of our educational resources, or to access activity standards correlations for all 50 states, please visit us at www.PopulationEducation.org.
